Grounds Krewe is seeking community-minded leaders to join our Board of Directors. Our ideal candidates are mid-career and experienced professionals who have made a meaningful impact in the New Orleans community or beyond, and are interested in supporting a more sustainable Carnival culture.
Candidates may bring experience or a strong interest in sustainability, Mardi Gras and event production, arts and culture, fundraising, finance, communications, education, public policy, community engagement, or nonprofit governance.
Board members are expected to attend 4 meetings annually, prepare for and engage actively in discussions, support fundraising and partnerships, attend key events when possible, make a personally meaningful annual contribution, and uphold the organization’s mission and values. Board terms are 3 years.
