2021 “Local Flavor” Consumable Throw Assembly

Program Summary: Volunteers are needed to help sticker, stuff and tie consumable throws for a big Krewe order through the Grounds Krewe Sustainable Throw Catalog. Help us put together these high value, eco-friendly, functional items that build a local throw economy and create a Mardi Gras we can all be proud of.

Description of Work: Grab a seat, put on some tunes or chat with a friend for the easiest volunteer work you’ve done in a minute. All you have to do is pull the backing off a sticker, apply it to a pre-packed, sealed product bag, stuff it into a jute pouch and tie it up like a shoe. Boom. One down. See demo videos here:

Where & When: Attend a volunteer event (see schedule below) or contact Grounds Krewe to pick up a kit to take home, do on your own schedule and return at your convenience.

Take Home Kits: Come by the Grounds Krewe office on Magazine St. between now and October 10th, 2021 to pick up a kit or two to take home with you. Each kit includes 150 consumable product bags, 150 jute pushes and 150 stickers. Approx. assembly time is 2hrs. Take photos of you and your friends in action to be featured on the throw QR code link!
